Fuel Cell Energy Set To Undergo $23M Torrington Expansion

Danbury-based fuel cell manufacturer Fuel Cell Energy (FCE) recently announced expansion plans for its Torrington plant.

FCE plans to expand its facility by 102,000 square feet, according to a statement.

The initial expansion project is expected to cost $23 million, subsidized by a $10 million low-interest loan from the state. The company anticipates 165 new jobs will be created by the project.
