First Niagara Financial Group has closed on a multimillion dollar financing package with LaSalle Road Partners LLC for the acquisition and renovation of three mixed-use office/retail properties in West Hartford Center.
The buildings, located on LaSalle Road and Farmington Avenue, currently house Grant’s Restaurant and Bar, Restaurant Bricco and the Music and Arts store. The buildings were purchased from the Sinatro family, who owned them for more than 60 years. LaSalle Road Partners will modernize the buildings with more than 72,000 square feet of rentable space.
LaSalle Road Partners is an investment group consisting of Connecticut-based Corridor Ventures, Rockport Investments and Tecca Ventures.
“We believe deeply in the future of West Hartford Center and found that First Niagara shared many of our fundamental beliefs in looking to invest in great neighborhoods for the people who live, work and play there,” Dan Joseph, president of Corridor Ventures, said in a statement. “We look forward to working with existing and prospective tenants in these buildings to enhance the physical characteristics of the space and to develop a diverse mix of tenants and businesses.”
