OMEGA Engineering, a global instrumentation company, will relocate its corporate headquarters in Stamford with a 26,995-square-foot office lease in Norwalk.

The company will move to 800 Connecticut Ave., a 412,000-square-foot property owned by CBRE Strategic Partners U.S. Value 7, a fund sponsored by CBRE Global Investors.

CBRE represented the building ownership in the lease negotiations. Steve Baker of Cushman & Wakefield acted on behalf of OMEGA Engineering.

PowerPoint Presentation“800 Connecticut Ave. is one of the very few office buildings in the market that caters to TAMI tenants and Millennial employees, offering coworking and collaborative spaces as well as full Wi-Fi connectivity,” David Block of CBRE said in a statement. “OMEGA Engineering’s commitment to relocate its corporate operations from Stamford speaks directly to the allure of the property and the entire Norwalk submarket to global companies.”

CBRE acquired 800 Connecticut Ave. last fall and plans to make $7 million worth of improvements, including a host of amenities and a new glass canopy.

Other tenants include Priceline and Octagon.
