New York and Connecticut‘s Metro-North Railroad says buses will replace trains between New Canaan and Stamford this weekend while the railroad makes improvements to the track.
The railroad says the change will go into effect after 10 p.m. Friday and remain in effect through the last train of the evening Sunday on the New Canaan line. Westbound buses will operate 15 to 20 minutes earlier than scheduled trains.
The railroad advises passengers to listen for announcements and to check local or express bus service to their destination while boarding.
Metro-North says crews will be replacing a road crossing, welding track joints and cutting brush over the weekend.
