Gov. Dannel P. Malloy has appointed Charles R. Gray of Stamford to serve as chair of the Connecticut Airport Authority (CAA) board of directors.
Gray has served as a member of the board since its establishment in 2011. He currently is the sales leader for NCR’s Hosted Solutions Group, where he is responsible for all sales, account management and client relationships across North and Latin America.
“Over the last four years, I have been honored to help in the transformation of Connecticut’s airports into innovative, customer-focused aviation centers, as the Governor charged us to do,” Gray said in a statement. “We have made tremendous progress, and are poised for more successes in the future. Because the work ahead is so promising, I’m deeply grateful to be nominated by Gov. Malloy to lead this unified, dynamic board.”
The current chair, Mary Ellen S. Jones, is being reappointed as a member. In addition, Brett C. Browchuk of Avon will be reappointed to another four-year term.
