First County Bank Foundation has granted a total of $25,000 to six Westport-based nonprofits.

“First County Bank Foundation is celebrating its 15th anniversary of supporting community-based charitable organizations which provide essential services to improve the lives of people in the local communities they serve,” Reyno A. Giallongo Jr., president of First County Bank Foundation, said in a statement. “It’s exciting to be part of an organization which works together with these charities to ensure basic needs are met.”

The grants included:

  • Homes with Hope – $10,000
  • Positive Directions – $5,000
  • Project Return – $2,500
  • Earthplace, The Discovery Nature Center – $2,500
  • Westport Volunteer Emergency Medical Service – $2,500
  • United Way of Coastal Connecticut, Westport – $2,500
