Konover Breaks Ground On Norwich Retail Building

A new retail building is now underway in Norwich following a recent groundbreaking by The Simon Konover Co. at 624 West Main St.

The new 5,000-square-foot building will be located at Marcus Plaza, northwest of the existing shopping center.

Construction is scheduled to be completed in May 2017. The property is owned by Norwich Realty Assoc. LLC, and is being developed by Sikon Development Corp.

New leases have been signed with Moe’s Southwest Grill and We R Wireless.

“The construction of this new retail space is the culmination of several years of significant investment,” James Wakim, president and COO of The Simon Konover Co., said in a statement. “We eagerly anticipate the completion of the new space and welcoming our two new tenants to the Norwich market.”
