Webster Bank Receives Award For Employee Volunteering Efforts

Webster Bank received the H.D. Bassett Award from Newtown Youth and Family Services (NYFS).

The annual award was initiated in 1990 to honor H.D. Bassett, a former board member and dedicated volunteer for The Family Counseling Center. The award recognizes outstanding volunteer contributions on behalf of the agency.

A group of eight Webster Bank employees volunteered at the 30th Annual Holiday Festival to benefit NYFS as part of the bank’s 80 Days of Giving Program. The bankers earned a $1,000 grant for the agency.
