The architecture, art and advisory firm Svigals + Partners has been selected to design a new headquarters for the growing biotech startup BioHaven.

The new location will be crafted from an early 1900s brick bank building in New Haven. Svigals + Partners will create a contemporary and highly flexible interior. The 3-story home for BioHaven will offer a varied mix of shared workstations and collaborative meeting zones.

With a new branded home and modern work systems, BioHaven, which went public in May, will update the classic New England building at 215 Church St. BioHaven will move into the 10,000-square-foot building beginning in early 2018.

Svigals + Partners expertise with science and research organizations and with corporate interiors includes such recent projects as the headquarters of Higher One, a trading floor for Wood Creek Capital Management, Pepsico’s Ideation lab and offices for Yale University’s Shared Services group.
