Former film producer Harvey Weinstein, who stands accused of sexual assault and harassment by more than 60 women, sold the last two of his properties in Westport this month for a total of $16 million.

The waterfront properties, which once hosted fundraisers for Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama, were purchased by a Beachside Avenue commodities trader who owns six properties on that street, according to town records. Weinstein has sold one other Westport property since being publicly accused of assault in October 2017. Yesterday, The Weinstein Co. announced it would file for bankruptcy.

Weinstein is believed to be staying in a recovery facility in Arizona. No criminal charges have been filed against him to date, but at least one jurisdiction is considering filing them.
