Torrington Savings Bank Makes $150K Contribution to Library’s Community Room

Torrington Savings Bank has donated $150,000 donation to the Torrington Library.

The donation will go toward the recently named Torrington Savings Bank Community Room. This expansive, new gathering space was created during the latest renovation of the library, which was completed in 2016.

“As Torrington Savings Bank recognizes its 150th anniversary in 2018, it is our privilege to be donating to one of the cornerstones in our community,” John E. Janco, president and CEO of Torrington Savings Bank, said in a statement. “The Torrington Library is a place where the community can truly come together.”
