Cereta Tyndale of Hartford was awarded the 2018 Caregiver of the Year Award at the Annual Leadership Conference of the Homecare Assoc. of America this past September. She was one of 50 nominations, and received a cash prize of $1,000 as well as a travel stipend for the conference.  

Tyndale has worked at Companions for Living for 10 years and was awarded for her outstanding work with older adults and their families. The company was the first home care company in Greater Hartford with certified caregivers to provide specialized memory support services for older adults and disabled individuals.
