Southbury Building Sold, Will Be Converted to Gym

A 14,111-square-foot building in Southbury, previously the home of Southbury Food Center and most recently Labonnes Epicure Market, will become a Planet Fitness following a complete renovation.

The building on 1.4 acres on Main Street in Southbury was sold for $1.5 million to 150 South Main St. LLC.

Gerry Matthews of Washington Depot-based Matthews Commercial Properties represented ownership; Steve Patten of the North Haven-based Proto Group represented the buyer.
