Many of Sears’s stores may have been saved from immediate closure, but the company’s Manchester location may not be one of them.

The Sears building at The Shops at Buckland Hills has been sold for $10.4 million; however, the Hartford Courant reported the mall’s manager said the store does not appear to be closing.

An entity called TF Manchester CT LLC bought the 145,880-square-foot building; the company does not appear in the state’s LLC database.

Sears’ stores in Milford and Waterford closed after the company filed for bankruptcy earlier this year, but the company still lists open stores in Manchester and Danbury, plus auto centers and an appliance outlet elsewhere in the state.
