A second residential project has been proposed for the intersection of Main and Park streets south of downtown Hartford.

The Hartford Courant reports 108 units are planned for a pair of blighted, city-owned lots at the intersection by Spinnaker Real Estate Partners of South Norwalk and Hartford-based Freeman Cos. The two-building proposal is across the street from one of two former Catholic schools in the city being converted by New Jersey-based Aria Legacy Group into 100 total housing units.

The Hartford City Council is slated to vote on the Spinnaker/Freeman proposal later this year, but a specific date has not yet been set, the paper reports.
