Liberty Bank, People’s United and Webster Bank have been named three of the best banks in the world, according to Forbes.

In partnership with the market research firm Statista, the Forbes study surveyed more than 40,000 customers around the globe for their opinions on their current and former banking relationships. Banks were rated on general satisfaction and key attributes like trust, fees, digital services and financial advice.

Sixty banks from the U.S. made the list. Liberty Bank ranked fourth overall out of U.S. banks on the list, while People’s United ranked 38th and Webster ranked 56th.

“On behalf of the entire Liberty Bank team, I want to thank our customers for awarding us with this tremendous recognition,” Chandler J. Howard, Liberty Bank president and CEO, said in a statement. “As a Connecticut-based company, we are not only committed to helping our neighbors confidently manage their finances, we are equally committed to creating stronger communities through partnerships across the state. Our dedicated employees will stop at nothing to provide service that’s second to none. They keep customers’ best interests at heart and look for new opportunities to improve our offerings. This recognition speaks volumes about the pride and trust our customers and communities have for the bank.”
