A large empty parcel in Cheshire could soon be the site of a hotel, a residential subdivision and more.

The town’s planning and zoning commission unanimously approved a request from developers Miller Napolitano Wolff LLC and Tri-Star Development to subdivide a large parcel they own at 2037 Highland Ave., according to the commission’s minutes.

The Hartford Business Journal reports that developers’ plans may attract a range of investors, as they may be looking at building a 150-key hotel, a residential subdivision, a senior living facility, offices and retail component. The over 100-acre parcel is just off Exit 3 on Interstate 691.
