A Bridgeport brick warehouse in need of “substantial” renovations has sold for $175,000.
The building at 136 James St., built in 1910 according to city property records, is a 27,401-square-foot 2-story structure on .77 acres.
The seller was Black Bear Realty LLC and the buyer was Fraser II LLC.
Previously used for warehousing and the storage of concrete burial vaults, the structure will be demolished and five new duplex homes will be built on the land, according to Alan M. Fischer of Fischer Commercial Real Estate, who represented both the seller and the buyer in this transaction.
