The building home to the iconic Tony & Lucille’s Little Italy restaurant in New Haven has been sold for $1 million.
The Wooster Square eatery has been a fixture in the area for 53 years along with other famed Italian eateries like Sally’s Apizza and Frank Pepe’s Pizzeria Napoletana.
The neon-covered building at 150 Wooster Street sits on a 0.35-acre corner lot and has 5,600 square feet of restaurant space.
Frank Hird of O,R&L Commercial in Branford represented the owners, Anthony and Lucille Sacco, who are retiring. Hurd also procured the buyer, Nuvention 2 LLC. The buyer plans to renovate the property and lease it to new tenants.
