Downtown Danbury is slated for a make-over, with millions budgeted for inlaid sidewalks, street trees and other public amenities.
According to the Danbury News-Times, work on the city’s Streetscape Renaissance Project could start in mid-November.
The upgrades are intended, along with a push for over 1,000 new apartments and more public art, to make the city’s downtown a cultural destination and an attractive place for new development.
