A real estate investor who recently made major industrial and multifamily purchases in Bridgeport has expanded its holdings to Stratford.

Frontier Communications sold Time Equities the former Southern New England Telephone facilities for $8 million, the Connecticut Post reports.

The 134,480-square-foot building was built in 1972 and sits on nearly 10 acres of land on Woodend Road, according to town records. The property is valued at $5.7 million.

Time Equities has spent over $43 million buying industrial and residential buildings in and near downtown Bridgeport in recent months. Its portfolio before the Frontier sale included over 1 million square feet of space and 176 apartments.
