Westport Retail Plaza Sold for $4.35M

A shopping plaza on Post Road East in Westport has sold for $4.35 million.

The Westfair Shopping Center, a two-building, 16,000-square-foot shopping center at 1759 Post Road East, was was built in 1950 and sits on 1.1 acres of land zoned General Business District. According to town records, the property is appraised at $4.84 million.

The center is a staple of the local community with long-term tenants, according to commercial real estate firm HK Group, which brokered the transaction. Tenants include an auto parts store, which has been at the plaza for over 35 years, as well as Westfair Fish & Chips, a UPS Store and Westfair Shoe Repair, among others.

The seller was KB Westfair LLC and the buyer was Westfair Real Estate LLC, an affiliate of John A. Nelson and Paragon Realty Group LLC of Westport.
