East Hartford Rooming House Portfolio Sells for $800K

A rooming house portfolio that had been on the market for two years has sold for $800,000.

The three-parcel East Hartford sale contained 38 units and one 850-square-foot tenant.

Dale Reese managing broker of Reese Commercial represented 18 Brewer Associates LLC, 26 Sisson Assoc. LLC and 217-221 Burnside Assoc. LLC, the sellers, and procured the buyer, 44 Connecticut BDLV, a local investor.

Reese said in announcing the deal that the seller had tried to sell the portfolio for over two years but was unsuccessful. Reese said he brokered the transaction in less than 5 months.
