Flex office space provider Serendipity Labs Coworking has announced plans a new location in Westport, its sixth in the Tristate area and 38th nationwide.

The 21,000-square-foot space spanning the second floor at 55 Post Road West will open in January following a renovation project. It will include coworking space, shared offices, team rooms and meeting and event facilities with a capacity for up to 75 attendees.

“By including Serendipity Labs here, we will be able to offer great amenities to our tenants and Westport business community submarket, whether they want flexible coworking and shared offices or have a conventional lease but need a local place for off-sites, meetings and events,” Brian Carcaterra, a principal at Homewood Real Estate Partners which owns the Westport property, said in a statement.

The Westport location joins Rye, New York-headquartered Serendipity Labs’ existing area locations in Manhattan’s Financial District, Ridgewood, New Jersey, White Plains, Rye and Stamford.

In 2017, Serendipity Labs’s 700 Canal St. location in Stamford was recognized as the Business of the Year by the Stamford Chamber of Commerce and as the Coolest Place to Work in Connecticut by Women Digital Nomads.

Membership options include day passes, private offices, team rooms, shared offices and meeting and event reservations.
