Berkshire Bank has hired Charlotte Irwin and Glastonbury’s Travis Lane as vice presidents and portfolio managers for the bank’s wealth management team.

In their roles, Irwin and Lane will provide investment management and services to client accounts across global equities, bonds, mutual funds and exchange traded products. They will serve on the team’s investment committee, contributing insights on global economic and security market conditions to develop investment strategies based on client objectives and risk tolerances.

Irwin will be based in the bank’s headquarters at 60 State Street in Boston, and Lane will be based in Berkshire’s Glastonbury office.

Lane has over 10 years of financial planning experience working with families and small businesses. For the past seven years, Travis has worked as a financial adviser in the Greater Hartford area.

Irwin worked for the past four years as a research strategist on the SPDR ETF Research team at State Street Global Advisors. She was responsible for product research and analysis, and the development of market outlooks, investment themes and portfolio implementation ideas to help financial advisers and institutions achieve their desired investment outcomes.
