Stamford-based First County Bank has hired Greg Pastor as vice president and commercial banking officer.
“Greg has decades of commercial banking experience with an emphasis on Commercial Real Estate Financing and deep roots within Fairfield County,” Sara Tucker, executive vice president, chief lending officer and director of business banking for First County Bank, said in a statement. “He is well-versed on the key areas of development within the communities we serve, and is excited to create new relationships with local businesses, while providing solutions to support the needs of their companies. Greg will be a great addition to the commercial banking team here at First County Bank, and we welcome him aboard.”
Pastor has worked with numerous businesses, real estate investors and developers throughout Fairfield County while at other local and national banks, including United Bank, which was acquired last fall by People’s United Bank.
“First County Bank embodies the community banking model, while actively supporting local nonprofit organizations, which was one of the many reasons I was drawn to this opportunity,” Pastor said.
In addition to creating new business relationships, he will analyze the borrowing needs for clients and prospects and assist with client referrals to other First County Bank business lines.
Pastor is a member of the Real Estate Finance Association.
