A New Britain developer plans to build 111 apartments on vacant land in Bloomfield.

Avner Krohn, head of Jasko Development, is partnering with Zelman Real Estate on the project, which was OK’d by town planning officials recently.

The 4-story structure at 54 Jolley Drive still needs zoning and wetlands approvals to proceed.

Construction could begin this fall, the Hartford Business Journal reports, and the project would likely serve workers at nearby large firms, like Cigna.
