Danbury Mayor Mark Boughton announced Amazon will be building a distribution center in the city with a two-word exclamation.

“Boo Yah,” he tweeted along with a screenshot of the official announcement.

The last-mile facility will not be in a new facility, but instead will repurpose the former Scholastic Corp. facility on Old Sherman Turnpike. In total, the facility will be 147,000 square feet and will employ around 400 local workers.

Sound Development Group is the facility’s owner.

Boughton made headlines in 2017 during Amazon’s HQ2 contest with his effort to lure the giant to Danbury.
