A parking garage leased to the state of Connecticut has changed ownership in Bridgeport.

The 34,428-square-foot, two-story structure at 95 Chapel St. sold for $1.1 million.

The buyer, 38-2112th Street Partner LLC, and the seller, Geza Scrap, were both represented by Jon Angel, president of Angel Commercial in Southport.

The garage is in a Designated Opportunity Zone in the heart of the government hub in Bridgeport, and the sale was part of an IRS Code 1031 Exchange, Angel said in a statement.
