The Greater Hartford Association of Realtors announced it has installed a new president for 2021.
Alexa Kebalo Hughes of eXp Realty will lead the group this year. She succeeds Diane McAdams in the role.
Hughes was formally installed in her post in a virtual meeting of the 4,800-person organization on Jan. 21.
Kebalo is the youngest president in GHAR’s 100-year history. She began her career in real estate in 2011, the group said in its announcement.
“I am so excited at the possibilities for supporting GHAR and our members’ business in 2021,” Kebalo said in a statement. “As a Realtor leader, I am dedicated to protecting private property rights, creating equal housing opportunities for all, and promoting the American dream of homeownership.”
Kebalo has been a member of GHAR’s board of directors since 2017 and is a member of the National Association of Realtors’ RPAC Participation Council.
