Report: New Haven Landlord Moves into Hartford Market

A prominent New Haven multifamily landlord is expanding northward with a $7 million buy of two buildings.

Affiliates of Ocean Management bought 201 Ann Uccello St. and 275 Asylum St. from local landlords Yisroel Rabinowitz for a combined $7.06 million, according to public records.

The Hartford Business Journal reports the former building – currently leased as a school – will soon become empty, while the latter 26-unit building has seen occupancy rates in the basement as renters left to buy homes or for their home countries.
