West Haven Retail Plaza Sells for $3M

A West Haven neighborhood shopping center has traded hands for $3 million.

White Plains, New York-based Delaurentis Management Corp. bought Savin Rock Plaza from a Queens-based investor group.

The 62,722-square-foot property at 200-250 Captain Thomas Blvd. was built in 1966, according to public records, and last sold in 2014 for $3.7 million. The property sits on 5.86 acres.

The property is located next to both a collection of multifamily housing complexes and the Savin Rock boardwalk along West Haven’s long and popular public beach. Tenants include a mix of local and national retail businesses, according to O,R&L Commercial, whose Phil Marshall represented the buyer.

Delaurentis plans “substantial renovations and upgrades” to the property, the Branford-based commercial brokerage said.
