A broker with nearly four decades of experience in commercial real estate is joining Avison Young’s Fairfield County/Westchester County office as an executive director.
John S. Gray will work on the landlord and tenant representation team at Avison Young after more than two decades at Cushman & Wakefield.
During his career, Gray has been part of teams completing over 6 million square feet of transactions for clients including CItibank N.A., Merrill Lynch & Co. and New York Life Insurance.
On the landlord representation side, Gray’s experience includes such properties as 740 Madison Ave. and 1211 Avenue of the Americas. Gray won the Real Estate Board of New York’s deal of the year award for the 750,000-square-foot restructuring of 1301 Avenue of the Americas.
“John’s successful track record of completing complex transactions, deep market knowledge and extensive client roster brings significant value to our firm as we look to expand our brokerage platform and recruit and retain the industry’s top leaders,” said Sean Cahill, principal and managing director of Avison Young’s Fairfield/Westchester office, in a statement.
