Report: Amazon to Lease Spec South Windsor Warehouse

The latest speculative warehouse to rise in South Windsor will be yet another Amazon facility.

The Hartford Business Journal reports that the company has inked a lease with developer Scannell Properties.

The 182,000-square-foot building at 240 Ellington Road is currently under construction and will open next year.

Amazon is a major industrial tenant in the Windsor and South Windsor areas, with over 2 million square feet of space leased or in the pipeline, plus a 403,000-square-foot distribution center in Cromwell.
