Torrington Savings Bank has hired Edward J. “E.J.” D’Ettore and Ryan Lynch as officers for its commercial banking team.

D’Ettore joins the bank as vice president of commercial lending. He will be focused on new business development and managing a commercial portfolio, TSB said in a statement.

D’Ettore comes to TSB with over 15 years of experience in commercial lending at both the community and national bank level. He most recently worked in commercial lending at Ion Bank, according to his LinkedIn profile. D’Ettore is a trustee of the Wolcott Congregational Church and has served on the board of the United Way of Greater Waterbury.

Lynch joins the bank as vice president and commercial credit manager. He will manage credit risk and the development of the credit underwriting team to support the bank’s growing commercial lending activity.

Lynch has nearly 20 years of banking experience. He was most recently assistant vice president and commercial portfolio manager at Westfield Bank and previously had roles at People’s United Bank and Farmington Bank.

“We are very pleased with the addition of E.J. and Ryan in their respective roles,” Paul Larsen, TSB’s chief lending officer, said in the statement. “Both bankers bring valuable experience to their positions and will have a positive impact on the communities we serve.”
