As part of its recently completed acquisition of New Jersey-based Lincoln 1st Bank, Ion Bank’s board of directors has appointed David Scelba as a trustee of the bank’s holding company and member of the bank’s board of directors.
Scelba was a member of Lincoln 1st Bank’s board of directors for the past 4 years, Ion Bank said in a statement. Mr. Scelba will contribute to the direction and strategy of the organization for Ion Financial, MHC and its subsidiaries Ion Bank and Ion Investments.
Ion completed its acquisition of Lincoln 1st on July 1.
“David is a great person and a tremendous asset to the already exemplary team we have in place,” David J. Rotatori, president and CEO of Ion Bank said, in the statement.
Scelba is president of Scelba Consulting LLC. He is an active board member on the New Jersey Association of School Administrators Education and Research Foundation and was previously a board member of the Lighthouse Guild and Better Business Bureau. He was also on several advisory boards for Lakeland Bank. He lives in New Jersey.
