Dave Sevigny, Branch Manager

Massachusetts-based Mortgage Network Inc. has moved its Connecticut branch to a new office in North Haven.

The independently-owned mortgage company, which previously had an office in East Berlin, has opened a new location at 116 Washington Ave. in North Haven. Mortgage Network said in a statement that it opened the new office “to better serve homebuyers and homeowners throughout the state.”

The new office has a staff of 12 mortgage professionals and is led by branch manager Dave Sevigny, who has more than 25 years of mortgage lending experience.

“We are thrilled about the new location,” Sevigny said in the statement. “Geographically, North Haven is the perfect spot for us to expand our presence in Connecticut and cover the Middlesex, Fairfield, New London and Lower Hartford areas.”

Joining Sevigny in the new office are senior loan officers Tish Assante, Sue Bernier, Kris Cedillo, Barbara Dennison, Chieh Jen, Patricia Leary and Paul Rossitto (NMLS #325070). Other staff members include reverse mortgage specialist Brent Berti, sales manager Tom Shearman, and loan officers Paul Constantinou and Chance McQueen.

Mortgage Network said it plans to add more loan officers and other administrative staff to the North Haven location.

“It’s very fortunate that Mortgage Network lends direct to Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac and Ginnie Mae, which helped us serve a larger number of borrowers at the beginning of COVID than the typical lender,” Sevigny said. “We also have great relationships with local credit unions and small banks, so we’re better able to get the financing our customers need.”
