Long Named First County Bank’s Chief Marketing Officer

Stamford-based First County Bank has named Lynn Long as its chief marketing officer, adding her to the bank’s senior management team.

Long’s appointment was unanimously approved by First County Bank’s board of directors, the bank said in a statement.

Long joined First County Bank in 1989 as a marketing/advertising coordinator, the bank said. She has been promoted several times over the years and is now a senior vice president with the bank. Long will continue to report to Willard Miley, First County Bank’s president and chief operating officer, the statement said.

“Lynn continues to elevate the Bank’s Marketing strategies utilizing an integrated approach to Brand Awareness in support of the Bank’s Trusted Advisor culture,” Robert Granata, chairman and CEO for First County Bank, said in the statement. “It is with great pleasure that I welcome Lynn to the Bank’s Senior Management team as our Chief Marketing Officer.”
