Brett Lovett Joins Jewett City Savings Bank

Jewett City Savings Bank has hired Brett Lovett as branch manager for the bank’s Putnam branch.

Lovett spent eight years at CorePlus Credit Union’s Plainfield branch, including five years as branch manager, the bank said in a statement. Lovett is a member of the Northeastern Connecticut Chamber of Commerce.

“We are delighted to welcome Brett to Jewett City Savings Bank,” Michael Alberts, Jewett City Savings Bank’s president and CEO, said in the statement. “With his experience and strong dedication to the community, he will bring a wealth of knowledge and support to our customers.”

Jewett City Savings Bank is a mutual savings bank with about $417 million in assets. The bank has seven full-service branches in Jewett City, Brooklyn, Dayville, Pawcatuck, Plainfield, Preston and Putnam.
