CBRE will seek to fill nearly 275,000 square feet of vacancies at a four-building office campus in downtown Stamford.
Owner RFR hired the brokerage’s Stamford office as leasing agent for Stamford Plaza, a 1 million-square-foot campus on Tresser Boulevard.
The campus was developed beginning in the 1970s and acquired by New York-based RFR in 2007.
The property had a surge in leasing following a $5-million capital improvement program in 2019, adding more than 100,000 square feet of occupancy from new tenants including Hexcel, Finacity and Korn Ferry.
Common area amenities include the 130-seat Terrace Café at 3 Stamford Plaza, teleconferencing centers, transit shuttle and fitness center.
CBRE’s David Block, Joseph Weaver and Jacqueline Novotny, along with RFR’s Margaret Carlson, represent ownership in leasing.
Fairfield County office vacancies rose to 26 percent in the fourth quarter, according to a report issued last month by brokerage Colliers, amid continuing sluggishness in leasing activity.
A 47,325-square-foot lease by Hudson Bay Capital Management at Stamford’s Shippan Landing was the county’s largest leasing transaction of the quarter.
