Naugatuck-based Ion Bank has hired Silvi Sboui as vice president and cash management sales officer.
Sboui will work with new and existing business customers and also manage and implement cash management services, the bank said in a statement. She works out of Ion Bank’s Naugatuck branch on New Haven Road.
“Businesses play a vital role in our communities by creating jobs and generating economic activity,” Sboui said in the statement. “Thanks to continuous innovation, Cash Management services are now accessible to small as well as large businesses.”
Sboui was previously a vice president and branch manager for M&T Bank in Orange. She is currently treasurer for the Orange Economic Development Corp.
“Silvi’s vast experience, banking aptitude, keen focus and strong desire to provide our customers with banking services will enable her to nurture business customer relationships,” Stacey Uccello, senior vice president and director of cash management, said in the statement.
Ion Bank has about $2 billion in assets and 21 branches in Connecticut and New Jersey.
