Ion Bank’s wealth management group, Ion Investments, has brought on Amanda Mongillo as vice president and life insurance director.
Mongillo will lead Ion Investments in helping individuals and business owners with life insurance, long-term care and disability insurance needs, Ion Bank said in a statement.
Ion Bank offers wealth management services through Infinex Investments. Ion Bank plans to open a Southington branch later this year, and Mongillo will be the Infinex Investments executive at the new location, the statement said.
Mongillo has more than 15 years of experience in financial services.
“Amanda’s vast experience in providing financial services will enable her to help businesses and individuals plan for the future and secure financial stability while providing personalized service,” Chris Nardone, president of Ion Investments, said in the statement.
The $2 billion-asset Ion Bank has 21 branches in Connecticut and New Jersey, as well as two high school branches.
