A Milford medical office building located near the town’s Metro-North Railroad station was sold to a New York investor following a competitive bidding process.

2080 Milford Medical LLC, a Chappaqua, New York-based entity, paid $1.345 million to acquire 2080 Bridgeport Ave. from Stratford-based Bastarache Properties LLC.

Completed in 1947, the property includes 6,860 square feet of rentable space and includes Hartford Healthcare as one of its five tenants.

Northeast Private Client Group Senior Associates Rich Edwards and Jeff Wright represented the seller and procured the buyer.

“The buyer plans to upgrade the property through numerous [capital] projects that will benefit tenants, create more curb appeal, and increase rental revenue. This was a competitive off-market transaction with multiple bids,” Edwards said in a statement.

Bastarache Properties acquired the property in 2007 for $750,000, according to Milford assessors data.
