Gov. Ned Lamont took to the stage at the Connecticut Association of Realtors’ Riding the Brand conference in Hartford Monday, and urged the audience to help restart the in-migration the state saw during 2020 and 2021.

As a part of that, CT News Junkie reported, he highlighted what his administration has done to grow the state’s supply of homes.

“I want them to show us where you want housing in your downtown area, hopefully next to a train station or transit-oriented,” he told reporters after the conference, the news site reported, but stopped short of saying he would pressure towns and cities to liberalize their zoning.
