A pair of Stratford apartment complexes that traded for $23 million are the first Connecticut acquisition for a New Jersey real estate investor.
Saddle River, New Jersey-based Maple Leaf acquired the Sherwood Square and Avon apartments portfolio from Navarino Properties.
Both properties are located 0.7 miles from the Stratford Metro-North train station.
Located at 480, 490 and 498 Sherwood Place, the Sherwood Square apartments include 105 apartments and a single-family home.
The Avon Apartments, located at 1126 Stratford Ave., contains 24 units and represents a “true turnkey value-add opportunity,” Northeast Private Client Group said.
Northeast Private Client Group’s Brad Balletto and Robert Paterno represented the seller and procured the buyer.
