A well-known broker in the Mystic and Stonington area has joined her firm to a major brand throughout the Shoreline.

Judi Caracausa is now affiliated with William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty after nearly 30 years running her independent brokerage in Mystic, Market Realty LLC.

Caracausa has “consistently” held the largest market share in Mystic for many years, William Pitt Sotheby’s said in announcing the move.

The move comes after Caracausa’s co-founder at Market Realty, her sister Celeste, died in November of last year.

“William Pitt Sotheby’s International Realty is a company that reflects my values and my level of quality in marketing as well as the caliber of people I want to work with,” Caracausa said in a statement released by William Pitt Sotheby’s. “It has to be a company I want to wake up with in the morning because I am determined to give my clients the best.”

Market Realty will change operate as a team, to be called “The Market Team,” within William Pitt Sotheby’s, the company announced. Market will keep it 28 Cottrell St. address in downtown Mystic.

“Judi is a perfect fit with who we are as a brand. She embodies everything we represent in the quality of her service and the way she works with clients,” Heather Gagnon, New London County regional brokerage manager for William Pitt Sotheby’s, said in a statement. “I couldn’t ask for a more professional, kind agent to work for us.”
