A 225,000-square-foot office park in Farmington has traded hands, from one investor-owner to another.
The Pond View Corporate Center, at 74-76 Batterson Park Road, was sold by an affiliate of New York City-based Sovereign Partners to an affiliate of Florida-based Kawa Private Investments for $29.75 million, according to documents filed with the Farmington town clerk’s office.
Commercial brokerage CBRE said it handled the sale for Sovereign and procured the buyer. Jeffrey Dunne, Steven Bardsley Travis Langer and Daniel Blumenkrantz of CBRE’s institutional properties team, in collaboration with John McCormick of CBRE’s advisory and transaction services team, handled the deal.
“Pond View Corporate Center demonstrates, once again, that during sensitive market conditions, tenants and investors seek a flight to quality, which Pond View provides,” Bardsley said in a statement.
The two-building property was 92 percent leased at time of sale, CBRE said, and the Sovereign had recently pumped $3 million into infrastructure and tenant amenities.
