A 52-unit apartment complex in the Quiet Corner sold for nearly double the price of its previous trade in 2017.
Investor Leonard Anemer of Lakewood, New Jersey acquired the Ashford Hills apartments from an affiliate of Naviah Investments for $6.15 million.
The 48,960-square-foot complex at 95 Varga Road was originally completed in 1969. Naviah Investments paid $3.05 million for the property in 2017, according to data compiled by The Warren Group, publisher of The Commercial Record.
Northeast Private Client Group Vice President Taylor Perun and Associate Cameron Formica represented the seller and procured the buyer.
In a statement, Northeast Private Client Group said the property bordering the Natchaug State Forest has potential for rent increases to reflect market increases.
