A retail property along Westport’s Post Road commercial strip has changed hands for $3.9 million.

The building at 950 Post Road East is currently vacant and was previously home to a Men’s Warehouse store according to Angel Commercial, the brokerage that handled the off-market transaction.

Built in 1989, the 6,617-square-foot building sits on 0.67 acres, with surface parking in front and garage parking underneath. It’s near other retail destinations like a Starbucks store and the local Crate & Barrel location.

Angel Commercial Vice President Eva Kornreich represented both the buyer and the seller.

“This sale demonstrates the continued strength of Westport’s retail real estate market, as the sale price represents a full price offer secured within minimal time after reaching out to our network with this off-market opportunity,” she said in a statement.
