An industrial building in Bridgeport has changed hands for $1.85 million according to a deed filed with the town clerk’s office.
The property at 678-706 Howard Ave. was sold by an LLC controlled by local businessman James Carbonne to an LLC controlled by Bruce Minoff, owner of a Fairfield flower shop.
Orange-based commercial brokerage Colonial Properties, in an email announcing the sale, described the transaction as an investment sale. Colonial’s Kosta Eliopoulos was the sole broker in the transaction.
The two-tenant building was fully leased, Colonial’s announcement said.
“This sale demonstrates the continued high demand for light industrial investment assets in the marketplace,” Colonial’s President Michael Richetelli said in a statement.
City property records say the 32,998-square-foot building was built in 1930 and sits on 1.17 acres. Carbonne had owned the property since at least the 1980s.
